New Program of Jazz Arrangements ≈
~Icelandic Folkmusic
o We are in production of our second CD with arrangements of rare and wonderful icelandic folk music. Should be out in the summer '12
o The "Icelandic Jazz Real Book" is a work in progress and will be published this year by P.Art.1
o Jazz Ensemble Úngút is on tour in Canada in May. Confirmed dates are the
26th in Winnepeg at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, and the 29th in Toronto at the Jazz Club Musideum.
o Bass Player in Canada is our good friend Einar Sigurðsson
o ensemble úngút performs as a Duo in the Berchthold Villa, Salzburg on the 16th of June. Begin is at 7.
Featured is the music of the 60´s and 70´s and our newest icelandic songs.
o Rosa has recorded a solo production with voice and guitar of her favorite icelandic folk songs. We hope to finish this project by the end of the summer .
